Candidate attraction
If you're only promoting standard benefits, why should someone consider you as an employer?

- Unless you know your own status in your industry and what you offer, how can you attract and retain talent?
- How do you attract the talent from outside of your industry?
- How do you know what is appealing to potential new employees?
With ever more challenges in attracting and retaining talent, you need to find and promote what's important to your applicants.
The "Why Us?" workshop helps you understand and build an attractive proposition for potential new employees. The workshop, delivered with your recruitment team and recent joiners explores:
- What makes you a priority organisation to join?
- What do you offer and what is important to prospective employer?
- Why employees stay with you?
- What threats could cause employees to leave your organisation?
Whilst salary will always be important for employees, often organisations are restricted in what they can pay. This means there also needs to be a focus on what else you offer and what is important to applicants.
- Why join? ~ How well known are you? What is the external perception of your organisation?
- What you offer in addition to salary or annual leave? ~ Everyone promotes salary but what else? Training and development? A great culture? Employee longevity?
- Why do your employees stay with you? ~ Do you have that "extra pull" that your employees love? Employees generally don't leave an organisaton ... they leave a manager!
How does the session work?
The three steps of the workshop look at "Why join, Why Stay and Why Leave?"
With a structured approach, each area explores the reasons that could be deemed important for applicants and existing employees, including the level of importance, position in the market place who in the company is responsible for it or can influence it.
We work closely with your recruitment and retention leads to ensure these messages are actively promoted.

Why you?
With so much competition, it's often a challenge to ensure you receive the calibre of candidates that you require.
We know how tough it is to attract candidates (the ones you want any way), so we've developed a solution for mapping out why someone should join you.
It's not just about the salary, annual leave or gym membership, but what else you offer, your culture or career opportunities. Through a workshop environment, we establish:
- What makes you a priority organisation to join?
- What do you offer and what is important to prospective employees?
- Why employees stay with you?
- What threats could cause employees to leave your organisation?
